Strategic Plan

All organisations need to take stock every now and then to remain relevant in our ever changing world.

In late 2018, with the support of the Board, our Rabbis and with the wisdom of key elders in our community, I instigated a strategic planning process.

Benefiting from a wealth of available data, a series of round table discussions contributed to the Strategic Plan compiled by historian and TBI member Sue Silberberg.

TBI’s mission as a sacred community of 89 years steeped in the values of Progressive Judaism remains unchanged.

Our core business of providing religious practice, lifelong education and community engagement are the pillars on which we build.

Relationships with our community, and our values and key partnerships will drive us forward.

“Planning for our Future” defines areas that need to be addressed in order to ensure the ongoing sustainability and vitality of TBI for the next five years.

I hope that you will be as excited as I am about the evolving future of TBI.
