Maintaining Balance 4 Weeks

According to an Australian Survey from 2012, a quarter of women and one-fifth of men working full-time are unhappy with their work/life balance.  Searching for ways to find balance in our lives is a recurring theme in modern living. Throughout this course texts will be studied related to the various elements of our lives that are constantly hanging in the balance.

Beyond Borders 20 Weeks

Beyond Borders provides students with a strong, text-based historical overview from the late nineteenth century through today.   The course grapples with issues of religion, culture, history, politics, economics, identity and survival—all reflected through primary sources, including newspaper articles, poetry, songs, government documents, speeches, photographs and memoirs
