Satellite Boy is a touching and visually spectacular film about Pete (Cameron Wallaby) a 12-year-old Aboriginal boy who lives in an abandoned drive-in in Western Australia with his grandfather Jagamarra (David Gulpilil). Jagamarra is determined to pass on knowledge and culture to his grandson, but Pete is a reluctant learner. However, when Pete and his friend Kalmain get lost in the Bungle Bungles their survival depends on everything Pete’s grandfather has taught him.

A program will be provided for preschool children during the screening.
