ONE TIME EVENTS
What is YOUR Ideal Jewish Community?
Sunday 19 February, 10:30 am after bagels at 10
Let us enter the world of make-believe. Imagine that you are part of the Jewish community in a brand new city and have been asked to be part of the committee forming a new congregation, with no history or preconceived ideas. In what direction would you see the congregation heading? What parts of our Jewish heritage would you adopt? What parts of our Jewish heritage would you not consider? What new ideas would you like to incorporate? How would you adapt the concepts of others? Although we will never leave the world of make-believe, we should still have a very lively debate!
