Learning Hebrew at TBI

We offer two levels of Hebrew instruction through a series of short courses taught by experienced teachers. We focus on the Hebrew of the siddur rather than the colloquial conversational Hebrew.

Aleph Isn't Tough

Beginners' Hebrew classes with Karen Rosauer. Conducted as a series of 10 one-hour sessions.

This course is offered twice yearly and assumes you have no Hebrew knowledge. You will be able to recognise all the letters and have a basic understanding of Hebrew word structures and an elementary vocabulary of key prayer terms.

Intermediate Hebrew classes with Albert Bentata. Conducted as a series of 10 one-hour sessions.

This course is offered twice yearly and assumes you have an understanding of Hebrew word structures and an elementary vocabulary of key prayer terms. It builds on the fundamentals to establish a more comprehensive understanding.
